BMI, the Nashville Blues Society, and the Galaxie Agency are partnering on Sunday, August 28th 2011, to present an evening celebrating the Music of Motown Songwriting Legend Barrett Strong.

(click logo Above for tickets)Barrett Strong to be honored by an All Star Blues line up at 'BB Kings' Nashville, TN. In a time when iconic songwriters are forgotten, Barrett Strong will be remembered for his staggering array of hits then and now. A fantastic line up of National Recording Artists will perform, including; John Ford Coley, Sarah Buxton & Dave Pahanish, Markey, Eliza Neals, Jimmy Hall, Mike Farris, The McCrary Sisters, Maria Blues, James "Nick" Nixon & Chelson Strong. Additional guest artists are slated to sing the Blues! The house band will be the Bart Walker Band with Reese Winans and Tennessee State University music department senior students.
