BMI, the Nashville Blues Society, and the Galaxie Agency are partnering on Sunday, August 28th 2011, to present an evening celebrating the Music of Motown Songwriting Legend Barrett Strong.

In a time when iconic songwriters are forgotten, Barrett Strong will be remembered for his staggering array of hits then and now. A fantastic line up of National Recording Artists will perform, including; John Ford Coley, Sarah Buxton & Dave Pahanish, Markey, Eliza Neals, Jimmy Hall, Mike Farris, The McCrary Sisters, Maria Blues, James "Nick" Nixon & Chelson Strong. The Amazing Liz Larin on Acoustic Guitar & Beautiful Vocals! Keyboard player Mark Harper kept us right! Dan Schmazt on percussion was always on! Julien Labro on accordian takes us to another level! Bass player and Vocalist Pathe Jessi brings down the house!
