Thank You Bitter End! Fans, Friends and Family! New Album on its Way!

The Bitter End show could not have been better! We had a full house and great energy! I performed some of my classics and a few New tunes also! I sang a duet with LAW (one fantastic gentleman from Brooklyn) wait until you see the video. Well its onto 2010 and I am very excited!
OK here is the latest from Detroit! Funky Daddy Tino Gross is lending his songwriting and production skills to me for my next album! Of course I am lucky enough to be working with Mr. Motown himself Barrett Strong! We already started and its all the best Detroit has to offer! There are more surprises along the way so here we go HAPPY NEW 2010!

"On the Rocks Detroit" in conjunction with Me will Join forces with Hard Rock, Melissa Etheridge, the Bangles, and a host of musicians around the world for Pinktober, the campaign for breast cancer awareness. Hard Rock Cafes and Hotels everywhere are hosting Pinktober parties and live music events, raising awareness and money for local, national, and international charities, such as The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Caron Keating Foundation. City of Hope Foundation NYC - Woman of the Year Kay Unger and Hoda Kotb

I attended The City of Hope Foundation's luncheon on May 4th 2009 to see my friend Kay Unger receive the Woman of the year award! Hoda Kotb of the Today show also received the award for her public struggle with cancer. It was a wonderful luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria and Kay's fashion show was remarkable. I was surprised to see Tim Gunn there presenting the award to Kay, we had a chance to catch up it was great. Thank you to "The Four Tops" for requesting my opening performance at their first appearance after receiving their lifetime Grammy award at the Whiting Auditorium Cultural Center in Michigan. It was a thrill being able to open for this legendary group, one of the foundations of Motown . Thanks to my Cousin Chris Mick who held it down on guitar. Thank you also goes to Kenny Robinson and Chris Kertcher on Horns with the 4tops. Big thanks to Dukes Sr and Logic plus the great Drummer and Bass player who jumped in and made it happen!

Thank you "The Bitter End" it was a Smokin Hot show! We tore em a new one last night! Thank you to New Fans, Old Friends and Family! Thank you to my musicians the RocknSoul Band; Rick Nossa on guitar, Dan Sanchez on drums, John Price on Bass, Red Wierenga on keys and Liz Williams on backing vocals. Sal on Harmonica adding Soul thank you also. We had a packed house again and it was fun to play new music and get great feedback from New York City!
